END OF YEAR LIBRARY TURN IN

All library books must be turned in by May 27. All textbooks must be in by June 3The first class in grade 6th and the first class in grade 7th that has every student with a completely cleared record as of June 3 (no items checked out and no charges or overdues) will win a pizza party!

Any student who has NOT cleared their library record of charges and overdues by the June 3 will have their yearbook and their report card held until charges paid and/or books returned.

Any 8th grader who has charges or checked out items as of June 8th 9am will NOT be able to attend the Oaks Park Field Trip.

The first week of April a STATEMENT OF CHARGES and/or CHECKED OUT ITEMS  was either mailed or sent home with your child. From now until the end of the school year we will regularly send home with your child a list of Overdues. Only the books that are very overdue are listed and have accrued charges ( totaled at the bottom). Books that are slightly overdue will accrue charges soon and must be paid if book not found. Books that are not yet due (like Math workbooks) WILL result in charges if not turned in by end of the year. Students should pay now if they know for sure book is lost. If paid and books are found, money is reimbursed.

  • $9 Connected Math 2 Workbook
  • $10-25- lit set novel or library book

You cannot escape these charges. Pay now so you can play now! Your charges and over-dues will travel to high school where you will still be financially responsible. These charges may interfere with your student’s ability to check out textbooks at the same time as other students. IF these charges are not taken care of by the end of senior year student WILL NOT receive high school diploma or transcript.
